We’ve been breaking cards since 2012. Here’s everything you need to know.
Get the app
The CSB app is the easiest way to follow along. You’ll get a notification when:
- new breaks are posted
- a break you’re in is about to start
- your teams come in from a random
When we break
We break most days, usually Monday through Saturday, starting in the afternoon. When breaks are happening, they’re usually posted for sale at 10am Pacific. Each break shows the day it will be broken, and the app will tell you when yours goes live.
Break types
- Pick your team: choose the team you want at its listed price.
- Random: buy a spot and teams are randomized live, 8 rounds, through RANDOM.ORG. Every random can be verified, and your results are saved in My Account.
- Drafted team: after buying, rank the teams you want and lock your list. The draft order is set by random, and picks run in snake order.
- Player breaks: buy specific players. Some price tiers get discounts, listed on each break.

Want to watch live? We stream on Twitch at twitch.tv/cardsmiths (a free account lets you chat). On our site, the Break Room page shows your spots, the current break, and randoms as they happen.
What ships
Each break lists exactly what ships. Usually that’s everything; on some bigger breaks, plain veteran base cards don’t ship.
Shipping
- USPS is always free.
- FedEx 2-Day is $8, or free once you spend $500+ in a week (Monday–Sunday).
- Sam’s and Omni’s breaks ship from different locations, so the $500 counts separately for each breaker.
CSB Points
Earn 1 CSB Point for every $1 you spend. 100 points = $1 off a future break, so it’s 1% back on everything. Use as many or as few as you want at checkout, and your points never expire.
